Description
The Revenue Operations Specialist will involve interactions with Sales teams at multiple properties to assist with seamless campaign execution, contributing to a high level of client service support. This position will assist our revenue operations team in implementing, maintaining and enhancing digital campaigns.
Key activities
• Support successful product development and related communications within the team and related departments
• Aid in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and sharing across all internal teams that impact advertising
• Follow plans and priorities set by senior specialists and web production, Sales, Marketing and Analytics to assist in the overall health of our digital business
• Gather data to assist internal departments with regards to ad inventory, forecasting, sell through rates
• Support implementations and ensures that assigned elements of advertising campaigns are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Completes revenue recognition in a variety of billing systems
• Compares reporting with third party to confirm campaign reporting is tracking and campaigns are running as contracted
• Troubleshoots on pre-launch creative, working with vendor to resolve creative issues
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to recommend campaign modifications for optimal results
• Support team with daily campaign analysis and optimization, inventory allocation across sales, promotions
• Generate monthly client campaign reports
• Work with senior specialist to interpret the results of monthly campaign reports
• Contribute to a positive professional environment with clients, vendors and internal teams
• Assist in the RFP process for national campaigns
• Respond to billing team inquiries to resolve monthly invoicing queries
Adhere to all Scripps and local company policies, procedures and Code of Conduct
Education & Experience
• Entry-level position
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
Skills & Abilities
• Adapt well to constantly changing environments
• Demonstrate the ability to be proactive and resourceful, with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrate ability to successfully multi-task
• Think creatively
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Fundamental understand of Broadcast and Newspaper media preferred
• Working knowledge of Flash, HTML and JavaScript
