Summary:
In addition to performing all of the elements of the Lead Sales Manager role, the Assistant Store Manager serves as the secondary manager of a Bose retail store. The position is intended as a developmental assignment to acquire skills required for the Store Manager position. Role has responsibility for:
• Serving as Manager on Duty including supervision of the staff, overseeing customer experience
• Achieving daily, weekly and monthly Sales and Attendance goals
• Assisting with delivering the financial performance required for profitable store growth
• Driving Bose ownership
• Delivering the Bose customer experience in all customer engagements and interactions
• Coaching all store colleagues on how to effectively engage and sell to Bose customers and offer a demonstrably unique customer experience and value proposition.
• Assisting in recruiting the talent required to support a successful store business
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serves as primary manager for the store when the Store Manager is out
• Assists in day to day responsibility for store operations and through regular rotational assignments, is accountable for specific areas within operations as assigned by the Store Manager
• Assists with communicating management expectations to store team and communicating store needs to Store Manager for effective action
• Coaches, develops and mentors store colleagues
• Able to fulfill all Lead Sales Manager and Sales Specialist responsibilities which include:
• Participating in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of Sales Specialists
• Achieving sales goals relative to store targets
• Delivering extraordinary and lasting experiences to every customer through personalizing Bose products and services to fit their unique needs
• Providing exceptional customer service during all customer interactions
• Modeling excellence in theater show presentation, inclusive of invitation and verbatim script delivery
• Actively promoting the Bose brand to build customer advocacy
• Participating in all store trainings and certifications to continually develop in role

Job Specifications:
• Position reports to the Store Manager
• Occasional travel may be required
Education/Experience:
• Requires an Associates degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ retail experience, 2 of which are in a supervisory or lead role.
