Job Description
A digital analyst at KVUE will support our rapidly expanding footprint across web, app, and social media. That footprint is designed to support broadcast consumption while always growing the KVUE brand as a trusted community source.
Responsibilities include:
• Analyze website performance layering it over broadcast, app, and social media data
• Assist to create, implement, track, analyze and optimize social campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
• Suggest hypothesis for improvement aligning to digital team KPIs
• Lead reporting calls with internal team and communicate key metrics and optimization opportunities
• Work with our external agencies and partners for tool optimization and reporting
• Consistent reeducation in the latest strategies for and changes to social media platforms and content requirements
• Analyze and forecast key site metrics such as website traffic, time on site, etc. Own site data acquisition through Google Tag Manager and set processes for campaign tracking
• Manage Google Analytics implementation including goals, page groups, behavior flows, attribution models.
• Build out advanced reporting and segmentation using Tableau, including real-time dashboards, user-level reporting, and blending with non-Google Analytics data sources.
• Identify and help structure test opportunities for audience and story analysis
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum
• A minimum of two-years experience in web and/or social analytics
• Experience using Google Analytics or Omniture, and Facebook Business Manager needed.
• Bonus to have experience in Tableau, Comscore, Nielsen ratings, Chartbeat, Crowdtangle, Social News Desk, Lakana, Slack, and paid social media
• Proven ability to understand viewer needs, generate creative solutions, and build on-going brand relationships
• Strong analytic skills to measure and optimize to ensure the success of our social programs
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in meetings, through email, and in writing.
