Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a versatile Senior 3D Artist to join a small team working on a mobile game project. The ideal candidate is excited to meld great art with great gameplay through modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating a wide variety of assets. The ability to actively communicate and thrive as part of a small team is vital.
Day-to-Day Tasks
• Work closely with designers and engineers to identify art needs and keep pace with rapid prototype development
• Model and texture 3D buildings, environment props, and other assets
• Set up rigs and basic animations for interactive environment objects
• Integrate art into the game using tools like Unity
• Refine assets to fit exact scale, shape, and responsiveness needs.
Your Background
• A minimum of five years of experience in game development using tools like Maya and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs).
• You have a wide range of experience in the realms of 3D and tech art, including modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, shaders, and FX.
• You have the technical aptitude to learn new tools and establish new pipelines as needed to get things done.
• You love to collaborate but can also be highly independent. Creating epic entertainment experiences is a group effort and you thrive when exploring ideas and working with others, especially on a small, nimble teams.
• You get excited when you’re able to communicate and collaborate daily with artists, designers, and engineers.
• You love video games, movies, and animation, and you love dissecting them and taking them to the next level through your creations.
• You have a passion for Blizzard games and understand the unique approach to creating content for our game universes.
