Position Overview
We are hiring high-energy sales professionals with strong sales skills, sound business acumen, and strong technical aptitude to join the Construction sales team as an Inside Product Specialist. The Construction Inside Product Specialist is responsible for managing their own pipeline of opportunities and driving them to close. You will receive incoming leads from the Sales Development Reps and will be responsible for prospecting for new opportunities on their own to keep your funnel full.
As the primary sales rep on your deals, you will lead the customers through their buying process. You will leverage technical sales reps and regularly scheduled webinars to demonstrate how our Construction solution can address the issues you have discovered in the customers’ processes. Working in a team environment with filed based Construction Product Specialists and Territory Sales Reps (TSRs) you will divide and conquer your territory. You will focus on the smaller, high volume opportunities and will engage the filed when you discover larger opportunities that justify in-person visits.
Responsibilities
• Aggressive outbound prospecting – making 30+ calls / day
• Strong closing skills will drive a large number of deals to close each month
• Partner with your field rep and TSR to drive sales across your territory
• Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by listening to their business needs
• Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
• Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback and improve future outbound campaigns
• Achieve quarterly goals and yearly quotas to drive aggressive sales growth
• Use Salesforce.com to document opportunities and activities
Minimum Qualifications
• 3-5 Years of software sales experience
• Strong “hunter” mentality – willing to cover all components of the sales process (prospecting, cold calling, negotiating)
• Pipeline management experience
• Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Highly skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to quickly adapt and learn
• Self-starter, high energy, aggressive and results oriented
• Strong desire to be in technology sales
• Prior inside sales/office-based sales experience
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Drive to continually improve your sales skills through on the job coaching, self-learning and as defined by Autodesk sales career progression framework
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Software demonstration experience
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills
• A combination of education and experience may be acceptable
