Role Summary
The Network Operations DVA will create visual representations of statistical analysis performed on large datasets using business intelligence tools like SiSense and Tableau that drive customer service and performance improvements. DVA will be responsible for UI improvements and UI creation for NetOps tools as QA Team identifies needs and areas for improvement. The DVA will be a fast pace, high demand, position where there are many initiatives that must be prioritized in order to provide the most profitable changes most quickly while still providing progress in other areas. Primary responsibilities will be around the creation of dashboards, through SQL scripting, and other visual reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support to Network Operations and internal NetOps customers in use of data visualization tools.
• Facilitate end-user training sessions for visualization tools.
• Develop analytics around customer equipment health and usage.
• Document best practices and FAQs in NetOps Wiki.
• Provide usage examples for analytics.
• Develop and provide presentations for use by NetOps leadership.
• Extract qualitative and quantitative relationships from large amounts of data.
• Gather and organize information for use in supporting decision-making processes.
• Continue to build on and develop NetOps artificial intelligence.
• Work with data analytics tools such as SiSense, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Develop new scripts and workflows inside inContact, SharePoint, and Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Create SQL scripts for quick ad-hoc reporting from MySQL Workbench and MS SQL Server Management Studio.
• Brainstorm with NetOps leadership for new areas of improvement through the application of analytics.
Qualifications/Experience
• Three (3) or More Years of IT Experience Required
• Two (2) or More Years Experience in Scripting using Various SQL Platforms Required
• Four (4) Year Degree Required, in a Computer Discipline, is a Plus
• High Proficiency in English is Required, Spanish is a Plus
• Backend Expertise in SharePoint is Desired
• Experience in Python is Beneficial
• CCNA and CCNP Beneficial
• VSAT Installer or Support Background Beneficial
