The Senior Systems Financial Analyst will oversee and assist in the setup and maintenance of all financial applications. This includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Entry, Cash Management, Payroll, and all other financial applications. Additionally the ideal candidate will oversee and assist in the electronic distribution of information. This includes FSG reports through Datawatch, OBIEE reporting, Excel or Access customized reports, and all other forms of electronic distribution. Other responsibilities include support of all third party interfaces to financial applications. Work with Accounting, IS group and consultants to develop efficient and flexible solutions to meet business requirements. Assist in developing PC applications to automate various manual functions performed by the financial community. Work with various department heads on adhoc tasks that involve technical solutions. Work on special projects as requested by management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial or IT required.
• Minimum four years’ experience in an automated accounting systems environment
• Technical proficiency with PC’s, MS Access, MS Excel (including macros), Monarch, etc. Knowledge of latest technical trends with respect to financial systems
• Thorough understanding of the capabilities and uses of financial systems
• Ability to multi task and follow up in a fast pace environment
• Ability to develop new strategies relating to financial systems
• Ability to use available tools to create adhoc reports to meet business requirements
