Position Overview
Canon USA is currently seeking a Internet Marketing & Social Media Specialist to communicate the corporate image and products (mainly cameras and inkjet printers) through social media networks and tools. This is a great opportunity to use your creative skills to make an impact in Canon's social media presence.

Responsibilities
• Communicate with each affiliate to enhance eCommerce site as well as SNS.
• Work on eCommerce rich contents or microsites and share them with all related groups to optimize performance.
• Will monitor the Canon's online communities and enhance our presence, focusing on the performance of interaction and reach thru communication on platforms.
• Respond to inquiries, questions, comments and other contacts generated through social media and coordinate escalations or further communications
• Analyze responses to social media activities and make recommendations.
• Maintain and build relationships with social network influencers to create marketing opportunities to drive favorable “buzz” and coverage.
• Arrange content production (ex. Videos) with outside agencies to communicate more efficiently.
• Collaborate with other marketing people to enhance connection between physical marketing approach and SNS.
• Also will be responsible for the implementation of community related content for the organization such as chat rooms and live events.
Qualifications
• BA degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience is required, preferrably in the camera/video industry.
• Requires business experience within the Latin American Markets.
• Must have a very strong skill set in the use of Microsoft Office with proven knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Must have the ability to work independently and be a self-starter within a team setting.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English and will be assessed by a professional language perficiency test.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
