Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting to the EVP, Global Communications & Corporate Branding, this role will author speeches, press releases, publicity materials, including internal employee communications. The role will work closely with the corporate communications and publicity teams to write communications and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Drafting corporate communications across Film and TV.
• Create and maintain executive bios for Paramount Pictures executives.
• Customize pitching for panel opportunities, special issues, conferences and publicity opportunities.
• Serve as primary internal manager of the corporate website, responsible for all day-to-day updates and content and layout decisions.
• Gathers daily corporate breaks; creates and distributes company digest.
• Facilitate legal clearance for externally-facing documents including press releases, production notes and other marketing materials.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English and / or Literature, Communications, Marketing, or other related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of writing and editing in corporate communications, journalism, or agency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be professional in nature to ensure all confidential information is handled appropriately
Additional Qualifications:
• Outstanding writing skills with a curious and creative writing voice
• Ability to synthesize a vast amount of information into a concise, easy-to-understand overview
• Experience translating business objectives into creative concepts
• Strong organizational skills to effectively assist in the management of multiple projects from inception to completion
• Must contribute creative work in a fast-paced environment
