PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The CAA Training Program provides unparalleled training for early entry employees who are interested in pursuing a career as an Agent or Executive in the field of Entertainment, Media, Innovation and Sports.
The goals of the program are to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders, provide a meaningful curriculum to gain hands-on experience, introduce 360-degree exposure to the company and create opportunities for one-on-one mentorship with CAA Agents and Executives.
Purpose:
This role will be tasked with assessing our current program and creating a core common curriculum that indoctrinates CAA’s core behavioral values. In addition, this role will also design curriculum based on each different business vertical. This role will also create benchmarks that identify strengths that align uniquely with different vertices and provide coaching and development to Trainee’s in the identification process. The ideal Program Director will have a strong background in learning and development of early entry talent paired with experience in customized instructional design.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop custom training tracks for emerging leaders across CAA businesses
• Identify potential talent earlier in the pipeline aligned to capabilities, culture, and strengths
• Build performance management, succession planning and talent review process to identify emerging talent across all departments
• Refine and calibrate the ideal candidate profile for each department and build benchmarks
• Identify tools and resources to assess and coach emerging talent
• Create leadership development and mentoring programs to engage, educate, and retain top, internal talent.
• Partner with Department Heads and senior leaders on Talent Review and Succession planning
• Collaborate with HRBP and Recruiters regarding candidate profile, diversity, pipeline, growth and development
• Track internal talent’s engagement with culture, education, and other entrepreneurial projects
• Partner with L&OD to create leadership development experiences to accelerate growth Partner closely with business teams to ensure alignment of talent development
• Connect potential talent sooner to leadership across CAA
• Identify and research trainee programs externally and bring forth new ideas that would improve our current program
Candidate Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, coaching, communication and consulting skills
• Superior ability to identify and coach high potential talent early in career
• Experience with needs assessment, instructional design, curriculum development, delivery and program coordination
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field
• 10+ years of industry experience with deep and broad knowledge in talent management, OD and leadership development
• 4-7 years - Early entry career coaching and development experience
• Demonstrated thought leadership and continuous learning
• Strategic thinking with the ability to be hands on
• Strong project management skills
• Proven experience in building strong consultative partnerships with diverse people across multiple functions
• Must be a strong team player and collaborator
