Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing departments, as well as the branch, by providing administrative support in creating and updating necessary materials to achieve productivity and revenue goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Generate reports as needed for sales, marketing, and management
• Update and revise sales and marketing materials including sell sheets, product profiles, etc.
• Prepare sales presentations and proposals by compiling audience and product research and presenting the information in an engaging and understandable manner
• Plan, coordinate, reserve and set up conference rooms, meetings, and ordering of food and supplies for internal and external events
• Assists in creative idea generations
• Working with vendors and ordering of supplies
• Assist Sales and Charting with contracts and posting forms, including checking and confirming arrival of production materials, monitor postings, takes downs and proof of performance
• Create maps utilizing mapping systems to plot locations for products, clients, and demographic profiles
• Create market ride maps of product locations as needed
• Maintaining customer database by inputting customer profiles and updates into the necessary documents and/or systems
• Generate internal and external communications
• Interacts with personnel at all organizational levels
• Handle confidential information and materials
• Be a back up to other support staff and performs other duties as necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to be flexible and conform quickly to changes without difficulty
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite products such as Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaboratively, respectfully and professionally work with all internal and external employees and customers with varying characteristics whether online or offline, in person, email, and/or phone interactions
• Skilled at written and verbal communications
• Knowledge of marketing trends, advertising mediums, social and online media
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to utilize and work with varying computer programs, systems, and interfaces
• Strong analytical skills for visualizing, gathering information, analyzing data, solving problems
• High degree of attention to details
• Ability to type 45+ words per minute
• Ability to use a laptop, computer and its accessories
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or Communications and/or 2+ years of administrative, advertising, marketing, and sales experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite products
