Summary of Position:
The Director, International Marketing & Promotions will report to the VP, International Marketing and oversee international promotions responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong project management and communication skills, being able to stay on top of several complex and time sensitive projects at one time with the right mix of prioritizing and taking the necessary initiative.
Responsibilities:
For Lionsgate theatrical Productions
• Manage the international media partner approval process including the execution of sweepstakes and management of winners for Premieres and other events
• Manage the approval process for international concession programs and premiums
• Manage the approval and execution process for experiential programs such as screening programs, marketing exhibitions (that are not sponsored by a brand), costume/prop displays, etc.
• Idea share to inspire partner programs
• Track, archive and prepare detailed wrap reports including assets for each program as appropriate
• Collaborate with International marketing and Global Promotions on distributor relations
• Liaise and collaborate with internal divisions as appropriate including creative, publicity, digital, consumer products, etc.
For 3rd Party Sales Titles:
• Establish guidelines with producers/other studios and manage the approval process for international brand, publishing, music/soundtrack, media and concession programs. This includes but is not limited to reviewing and approving all aspects of programs : business terms, creative, legal compliance, internal review
• Manage the approval process for international concession programs and premiums
• Manage the approval and execution process for experiential programs such as screening programs, marketing exhibitions (that are not sponsored by a brand), costume/prop displays, etc.
• Track and prepare detailed wrap reports for each program
Experience & Skills:
• 4 years’ experience in international promotions in the entertainment industry required
• Self-starter that is a true team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinker (big picture) with an eye for detail
• Ability to prioritize and deliver with tight deadlines
• Thrive in high pressure environments
• College degree is preferred
