ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Accelerate delivery of Automotive, Retail, & Hospitality industry insights across all IgnitionOne channels
• Lead initiatives to improve existing marketing industry reports and jumpstart implementation of a commercial automotive analytics offering
• For our largest accounts, hone analytics strategy and develop insights roadmap aligned to client goals
• Build automated templates for common client deliverables in Tableau / Excel / Powerpoint
• Validate and QA global site personalization data and play a leading role in data stewardship (i.e. “getting the data right”)
• Primary vertical focus in automotive industry and functional focus on website personalization
• Serve as a thought leader for the Automotive industry, both internally and externally
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 3 -5 years of experience in digital analytics / digital media / marketing analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, computer science, economics, psychology, or related field
• Fluent in SQL, Python, and R and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to translate complicated data sets and technical queries / models into actionable insights for clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to clearly explain complex concepts and statistics in simple terms
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrates initiative, and facility operating independently and working collaboratively across time zones with global cross-functional teams
• Core skill set in establishing priorities while working on multiple assignments, active management of expectations, and delivering against tight timelines
• Critical thinker who is constantly looks for ways to improve own skillset and meaningfully contribute to the broader team / organization
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Balanced mix between technical / coding skills and business fluency
• MBA, Masters, or PHD in related field a plus
• Passion for digital marketing, analytics, and driving actionable insights
• Fluency in Spark, Scala, and other Big Data tools a plus
• Familiarity with range of analytic approaches (linear / non-linear regression, Bayesian, clustering, etc.) and AI / Machine Learning concepts a plus
• Prior experience in consulting and structured hypothesis driven approach a plus
• Prior experience in Mar Tech, Ad Tech and understanding of DMPs (e.g. BlueKai, etc.) / attribution models a plus
