Group Nine Studios is looking to hire a Network Coordinator who will provide administrative support to the Network & IP Management team. This individual will play an important role in helping to push any and all initiatives over the finish line as we build a groundbreaking digital first IP business .
By way of coordination, this position will gain a strong understanding of the various departments affected by IP in a quickly changing digital media landscape. ResponsibilitiesThis includes coordination of assets, tracking performance and revenue, scheduling, and ensuring open lines of communication across JASH/Group Nine departments (i.e., Development, Business Development, Branded, Network, Accounting, and Post-Production). This position reports to the Chief of Network & IP Management, Mickey Meyer, who is looking to mentor someone who wants to learn more about Digital Media by way of “do-ing.”.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prioritize projects across Network and IP Management team based on urgency and deadlines; follow-up when necessary
• Serve as the point person when receiving presentation decks from the creative team; assist with creating/updating decks using Keynote and/or PowerPoint
• Maintain Network & IP database; ensuring all IP packages, files, and assets are kept up to date
• Project Manage different initiatives in line w/ Network Goals until handed off or funded.
• Review and keep track of performance and revenue; provide reports when requested
• Organize events and meetings, video conferences, and conference calls using Google Calendar
• Coordinate travel arrangements as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience
• Experience working and thriving in a fast-paced environment while executing multiple projects and deadlines
• Exceptional assessment and organizational skills; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (ability to create Keynote slides a plus)
• Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization
• Must be a proactive, self-starter and work well without constant supervision
• An interest in comedy is appreciated, a can-do attitude is a must
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
