Lee Enterprises in Davenport, IA is looking for a Financial System Reporting and Budgeting Implementer & Analyst. This position will be responsible for continuing implementation and maintenance of the financial system’s report writing integrity (Infinium, Cognos transition to TM1), financial budgeting system model implementation and administration used to produce both internal and external reports and budgeting for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Continue transition from current financial reporting system (Cognos) to TM1
• Manage the financial statement production process including creation and maintenance of reports and integrity of information provided.
• Perform administration roles required for system maintenance of monthly, quarterly and yearly processes
• Manage systems development and report creation working with multiple corporate departments and up to 50 various enterprise leaders
• Produce and maintain documentation and training material for other developers and users
Must possess the skills to work with multiple company entities simultaneously to support:
• Budget preparation
• Reporting issues
• Complex spreadsheet assistance
• Create, deliver and maintain training for enterprise use of financial and budgeting applications
• Operational assistance on various processes to improve productivity
• Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field and five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and exeperience
• Must possess knowledge of accounting concepts and principles and be skilled in analyzing/interpreting financial data
• Exceptional ability with Excel required (ability to write custom macros, develop complex workbooks, charts and graphs)
• Knowledge of MS Access (or related database management software)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to prioritize and schedule workflow. Also needs the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
