Financial Analysis Manager for Named Accounts, Worldwide Sales Finance

Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional to join the Worldwide Sales Finance team as Financial Analysis Manager, reporting to the Senior Financial Manager of Named Accounts and supporting the Named Accounts team. The successful candidate will lead and mentor a high performing team of two financial analysts, and partner with key stakeholders situated in multiple time zones across the world.
This position will be closely aligned with different finance and sales leadership teams to address finance opportunities and challenges to help the business evolve through its Business Model Transition (BMT). It is a unique and interesting opportunity for an exceptional leader to oversee and partner with the Named Accounts leadership team on forecast process, business analytics, performance measures and data driven decision making during the BMT.
The ideal candidate will be leading the team in delivering value and business support, while adding new systems and technology (Anaplan, Qlikview) and aligning to the evolving metrics (from core billings and revenue measures to subscriptions, ARR and ACV) consistent with Autodesk’s overall business model transition.
In addition, the right candidate will possess strong aptitude for financial planning and analysis, building and delivering reliable, accurate and timely financial data and modeling and analysis, and being able to understand and articulate business impact beyond numbers. Technically sound, passionate for process improvement, organizationally savvy, detailed oriented but also able to think strategically, you must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Establish strong partnership with the sales finance director and finance business partners to provide business support and insights into key metrics, including billings, revenue, subscriptions, ARR (annualized recurring revenue), and ACV (annualized contract value)
• Manage weekly forecast processes and deliverables, work with sales VP and finance director on forecast submission to WWS Finance HQ
• Lead named account quarter end close process, and partner on the GEO End of Quarter process as needed, including forecasting and analysis of key metrics
• Communicate effectively to finance director and finance business partner around process updates, key deliverables, and timelines per requirements from WWS Finance HQ
• Act as key interface with Sales Finance HQ and other financial analysis teams
• Provide strategic and tactical support on the annual budgeting and planning process
• Manage quarter end executive reporting and presentations, support quarterly operations review, and quarterly business reviews with ISM
• Provide regular and ad hoc analysis, including reporting and modeling, and drive insightful color of business performance
• Continuously improve and work across functions to drive efficient processes and systems, and leverage best practices
• Partner with other FA managers, the process team, and more broadly with sales and other finance teams on cross functional projects, including business model transition (BMT) and other process improvements
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus
• Minimum 8+ years of related experience
• Experience in sales finance and/or FP&A
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling) and PowerPoint
• Strong aptitude for, and experience with, financial and forecasting software – Anaplan, Qlikview, Business Objects, SFDC, a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership potential
• High energetic, and self-motivated, capable of working to firm deadlines
• Ambitious and eager to learn
• People management experience; the ability to work with multiple personality types
• Strong leadership experience developing world class talent/teams
• Demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior management
• Expertise in quantitative analysis and presentation
• Experience gained in Software or Cloud industry preferred
