VP, Product Development Operations - CQ Roll Call

Currently CQ Roll Call is seeking a Vice President of Product Development Operations to join our product development and technology team. The VP of Product Development Operations is responsible for managing product management and operations. This includes the entire product life cycle, including market analysis, conceptual design, functional design, development, and launch/go-to-market.
Additionally, s/he is responsible for finalizing the products’ value proposition, assisting in the development of training programs and verifying operational readiness for product launch. S/he will foster close working relationships with customers, sales, marketing, and client relations/account management teams to effectively leverage expertise and resources to achieve business objectives.
Accountabilities
In this role you would be expected to:
• Ensure the various product teams are channeling the voice of the customer into their product roadmaps and ensuring clear communications between product managers and internal stakeholders. Analyze program results to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
• Establish and oversee processes to channel customer and market requirements into products
• Understand and communicate all upcoming product feature and user experience changes to key stakeholders and ensure all status materials and roadmap documents are compiled, aggregated, and completed in a timely fashion, and maintained on a regular basis
• Manage the product planning and budget processes, including working with finance to provide detailed OPEX & CAPEX reporting to the different product management and engineering leaders
• Support product management and engineering teams with programmatic support including driving program increment planning, communicating status and risks, and escalating key issues and presenting options for resolution
• Deliver product analytics and reporting as a service to the entire business, including actionable key performance indicators, but with the ability for stakeholders to drill down to uncover specifics as desired
• Work with the various product teams to establish key performance metrics, and measurements are implemented to predicable delivery of product and ensure continuous improvement is established with technology
• Provide a technical documentation support function for the product managers to use to ensure consistent product-level documentation
• Drive product development methodology, policies, and governance frameworks, including driving core processes such as Agile across the organization
• Oversee development of staff onboarding, and cross product education and training
• Ensure successful launch of products meeting stated objectives of Cost, Quality, Schedule, and Customer Experience
Experience, skills and professional attributes
To succeed in this role you must have:
• 10-15 years of program management experience from planning to delivery, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a cross functional environment
• 10-15 years product development experience and managing senior level direct reports
• Ability to measure and analyze project and operational performance in driving improved delivery performance
• Strategic thinking and problem solving with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
• Experience managing projects in a professional services environment is preferable
• Experience working in agile development environment and Masters degree preferred
