The Sharepoint Developer is responsible for the architecture, design, development, and support of applications and AEG’s corporate Intranet, AEG Connect, that are developed on Office 365 and SharePoint online, including cloud technologies and custom programming. The incumbent will work with various cross functional business teams to translate business requirements into SharePoint Online solutions and meet the complex needs of our diverse businesses.
Essential Functions:
•Development of customized functionality of AEG’s intranet using Sharepoint online including providing guidance as to the best solutions to use for each use case.
•Management and maintenance of Sharepoint platform including the development of custom workflows and user interfaces
•Migration of legacy functionality from Sharepoint 2013 to Sharepoint online and Office 365
•Development of custom apps to support the business needs delivered on Sharepoint
•Integration of Sharepoint with other third-party business applications to support business needs
•Documenting and defining user requirements with the other product stakeholders, including flow charts, layouts and diagrams
•Contributes to and supports the AEG Connect 3-year roadmap and the product SDLC.
Required Qualifications:
•A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical area
•4 Years of related work experience with Sharepoint online, Office 365, Object orientated programming using JQuery, and Javascript CSS
•2 years working with Powershell and C# and .Net development
•Strong knowledge and understanding in Microsoft Office SharePoint online (REST APIs and Client Object Model)
•Knowledge of development of Power Apps and Flow
•Experience of implementing and developing Content Management systems
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
•Must be able to prioritize workload and manage complex requirements from diverse stakeholders.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of employees
•Ability to work independently to accomplish work objectives, as well as in a team environment.
•Project management experience is preferred
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer – Sharepoint is preferred
