Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Architect works with database platforms that support Extract Transform Loads (ETLs), cube environments, reporting platforms and data governance. They are responsible for setting up, analyzing, and maintaining database and cloud storage environments to support business reporting and process needs.
Job Description
• Create performance reports on install, change and disconnect orders as well as performer tasks, actions and revenue reporting.
• Reporting and metrics will be sourced from multiple order entry, workflow and inventory systems as well as supporting data marts/databases.
• Support ad hoc requests and projects as requested by the supported organizations and teams.
• Liaise with multiple organizations to identify reporting and metric needs and requirements.
• Create repeatable and intuitive SQL server reports against organizational, group, and individual contributor performance measures to facilitate process and team improvement.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ with a Master's Degree
• The ideal candidate in this role should be analytically minded, an excellent problem-solver, and able work with database administrators and data analysts to ensure they can easily use and access data for reporting analytical needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server (which uses the T-SQL ANSI/SQL development standards), SSRS (SQL Server Report Services), SSIS/DTS package development, Visual Studio, Oracle 9i or better, VB.NET, C# and/or application development, SSAS and cube development, database development, some ASP.net and/or application development.
• 5+ years’ experience in data mining, querying/accessing large data sets and developing key business reports and metrics,
• Experienced in analyzing complex issues, distilling and communicating their relevant aspects, efficient time management skills, able to draw conclusions from research and analysis and determine next steps and course of action.
