Description
Programs and Development Service Representative for the Royal Oak Foundation will take inbound customer service calls and will talk to members, donors and patrons to process payments, answer questions about the organization and its programs, and to ensure that every customer interaction provides a great experience. The representative must be a fast thinker with excellent communication skills who can clearly answer questions and anticipate future needs.
Specific Duties
Member Engagement
• Provides ongoing constituent relations by telephone, mail and email;
• Provides backup for general information inquiries by telephone
• Provides backup for membership inquiries, membership order intake and lost-card replacement
• Provide world-class service to our members, donors and event attendees via phone, social channels and email
• Own customer issues and escalate to appropriate channels as needed
Transactional Processing
• Intake and archival of all web purchases; routing to appropriate department for fulfillment
• Processes all lecture and tour registrations, processing registrations and providing information to lecture attendees by telephone and email
• Processes donations and matching gifts, including generating tax receipts and maintaining files
Event Processing / Other
• Responsible for events data entry and administration, including set up of each season’s schedule on the Foundation website
• Real-time liaison with programs dept. staff to monitor and manage event availability on web
• Performs content and functionality edits to website pages relevant to donation processing
• Provides general office support, including running database queries on CRM database, assisting with annual audit revenue backup
Qualifications
• Demonstrated aptitude and love for providing exceptional customer service
• A natural enthusiasm for resolving problems in an ever-evolving environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A proactive, ‘make-it-happen’ attitude
• Independent problem solver to research ticketing issues
• Able to speak with callers while navigating through multiple systems and entering vital information. Must be comfortable learning new systems - you’ll become an expert in our product and can learn new technology
• Experience with Blackbaud Altru a plus
This is a full time position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
