Description
The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical position within 21st Century Fox's Finance Group in LA and offers broad exposure to each of the FOX divisions financial and operational metrics and reporting. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as strong accounting and finance expertise. The position reports directly to the VP Finance and will work closely with the 21st Century Fox colleagues in NY and FOX divisional finance teams.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports highlighting revenue, cost and profit drivers across FOX businesses
• Prepare executive summaries of divisional quarterly forecast and annual budget presentations, focusing on key financial assumptions and operating metrics
• Responsible for accurate and timely presentation of key operating metrics of FOX businesses (Cable, Broadcast and Film segments) on the Executive Digital Dashboard
• Other ad hoc projects and reporting as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• 3 to 5 years minimum relevant experience in finance or accounting, financial reporting analysis
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 accountancy or consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; need to communicate well with all levels of the organization; build and foster close working relationships across multiple business units
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management reporting application a plus
• Must be dependable with the highest level of integrity
• Need to have a strong sense of urgency and be results oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in media / entertainment industry a plus
