Amplify’s Human Resources team is looking for an HR Operations Specialist with WorkDay experience, to manage HR Operations and Information Systems across the organization. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. This highly visible role will collaborate with HR Business Partners, the Talent Acquisition team, Payroll, Finance, Administrative staff and Executive Leadership to implement, improve, modify and support HROPs, HRIS processes and systems and Employee Programs. This key role will assume primary accountability for data integrity and HR strategic initiatives reliant on our HROps and HRIS platforms.
Responsibilities
HR Operations and Information Systems:
• Implement processes to maintain data integrity controls and effectively manage data dependencies. Ensure processes in place to facilitate 100% data accuracy and partner closely with HR specialist functions and business stakeholders to support same.
• As needed, identify requirements for additional systems improvements to eliminate manual processes and ensure maximum capability of WorkDay platform is utilized.
• Continually review and improve HRIS and HROps processes to ensure best practices and efficiencies for all users, employees and HR Team
• Support HR team in facilitating ongoing improvements in data-driven HR processes, such as onboarding, performance management, transfers, data changes, systems
• Develop complex ad-hoc reports, as requested to support HR and business driven objectives
• Train team members, HR specialists, and others in related functional roles on new technology and process updates
Compliance and Policies:
• Support the development and implementation of company-wide benefits policies, procedures and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and federal and state mandates
• Support the development of communication tools to enhance employee understanding of company benefits package
• Oversee ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and Workers' Compensation compliance initiatives, ensuring timely completion of government filings and appropriate response to related inquiries; monitor new and proposed legislation that affects or may affect benefits programs, policies and practices
• Communicate regularly with managers to advise and interpret relevant policies and processes.
Other:
• Work in partnership with the HR Team on special projects as required to support business and employee initiatives
Requirements:
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Operations as HR Information Systems Specialist, HRIS Analyst or HRIS Administrator
• Proven knowledge of employment law and how it impacts the design and administration of benefits and other HR programs.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with WorkDay platform, implementation, integration, utilization
• 3+ years of experience in leading process improvement projects
• Familiarity with HR Generalist or HR Business Partner roles and functions as related to HRIS and HR Ops
• Proven ability to work on complex HR problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors including legal regulations, company culture, and best practices.
• Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Google platforms
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, contracts, financial reports, and legal documents pertaining generally to human resources and to benefits, in particular.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to present HR information in large forums.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, and to be flexible and extremely organized
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
