Canon Solutions America's Sales Vice Presidents are responsible for the overall profit and loss of the ESS retail sales division. Responsibilities
• Aggressively grow the sales organization in key markets and segments while monitoring the establishment, development and enhancement of customer relationships.
• Manage development of strategy for both short and long term goals that directly impact the organization’s profitability.
• Implement strategies and tactics to expand market presence and market share within the US
• Deliver the revenue goals and forecast established for the division by developing and managing related sales plans for the region
• Display excellent human relations skills as judged by intellect, communications ability, approachability, and integrity
• Maintain a schedule of periodic contact with current, previous, and potential customers to inquire about satisfaction with services, need for other services, or need for services
• Design strategic sales and marketing plans (in cooperation with Marketing) via competitive analysis, customer segmentation and penetration plans
• Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity
• Provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
• Work closely with the Marketing team on US positioning
• Provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives
• Approve budgets and expenditures; monitor and control expenditures of the sales group to meet budgetary requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 12+ years Sales Management experience
• May require up to 50% travel, including overnight stays
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary
