Description
Forbes is seeking a creative marketer, problem solver and leader to join our dynamic, growing team as a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, reporting directly to the Vice President, Brand Marketing.
This person will help amplify and maintain the world’s #1 business news brand, strategically supporting the achievement of marketing and overall business goals, especially in driving qualified sales opportunities. Responsibilities:
Brand Content Creation
• Project manage asset/content creation process for brand marketing content & sales tool deliverables– I.e. media kits, sell sheets, editorial franchises, events, products, demographics , presentations, etc
• Manage process for statistic compilation & regular update across all content types & channels
• Handoff assets to relevant teams for distribution
Digital Tools
• Oversee content production & maintenance for several Forbes property sites, and own content maintenance for Forbesmedia.com
• Recommend improvements & identify opportunities to improve digital experience, keep our web presence fresh + dynamic
• Project manage & work with automation teams on campaign-driven projects
• Optimize multiple sites (working with internal & external partners) and regularly publish new content to maximize engagement
Marketing Operations & Strategic Planning
• Develop processes and systems to enable efficient & effective marketing to key buyer personas
• Test & measure performance of content types
• Foster alignment between Marketing and Sales, and with other disciplines
• Work with Sales team to define and curate programs for top accounts
• Conduct feedback sessions, e.g. win /loss calls with accounts
Marketing Automation & Campaigns
• Collaborate with Marketing Automation team to provide content for regular campaign deliverables
• Provide data from in-house and external teams
• Initiate and drive user experience /journey across all interactions - applicable for more
• Initiate campaign ideas across multiple channels
Social
• Develop social media strategy with Brand Marketing Director and Forbes social media team; post relevant content/articles to ForbesPromo social media accounts
• Manage interactions using social listening tools such as Sprinklr
• Develop and implement social plan to reach and engage brand advocates
• Collaborate across all Forbes social account owners to leverage content creation for potential advertisers
• Identify opportunities where Marketing automation can integrate with social - e.g. paid social + targeted campaigns
Research & Data
• Oversee audience story & insight development – across multiple data sources & from teams
MRI, MMR, comScore, GFK, GA, Simple Reach, etc
• Oversee competitive analysis
Skills & Experience
• 3-5+ years Marketing (client-side or agency-side) experience
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication, copywriting and editing skills
• Organization, prioritization & multi-tasking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Passion for online marketing, demonstrated through up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends
• Experience working with social listening platforms
• Proactive, eager and energetic
• MS Office Suite – Advanced User
• Marketo experience preferred
• Wordpress CMS experience
