North America Talent Operations Lead

The Role
The North America Talent Operations Lead will ensure operational excellence across HR programs and platforms in the US and Canada for approximately 2,800 employees. This is a strategic leadership role that is critical to the continued success of our growing company. You will oversee and manage global HR systems, tools, data housing and reporting, and compliance programs. You will work closely with leaders across our Recruiting, Talent Design, Total Rewards, Talent Partners, Diversity + Belonging, Legal, Payroll, Talent and Business Systems, People Analytics and Stock organizations to build robust operational processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Proactively identify various HR technology solutions to make it easier for employees and managers to get things done. Some examples include: HR service delivery & HR document management platform and workday manager self service.
• Manages the administration, reporting, analysis, and escalations of human resources initiatives related to Leave of Absence (LOA), STD/LTD, Workers’ Compensation, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with our third party administrator.
• Work with HR (Workday) Systems and other vendors to continually optimize HR processes to ensure data integrity and streamlined operations that provides real time data.
• Oversee and audit onboarding and offboarding with proper completion and maintenance of employee records and documents to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with HR leadership team and other functional areas to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process improvement and alignment with HR strategy and initiatives. For example, EX Evolution move to new service model as we grow and scale.
• Partner with Security and Legal to ensure HR policies and practices comply with compliance standards. Ensure compliance and execution of necessary activities such as EEO compliance and mandatory compliance training.
• Build and manage a best in class team to deliver exceptional customer service to our employees including, end to end employee + program operations: Recruiting, Talent Program, Learning Programs, and Diversity + Belonging Program, Business Partner, across all North American locations.
• Key leader on the Global Operations Leadership Team, partnering with the Director of Global Operations, as well as Regional Operational Leader.
Requirements
• Proven track record of building and improving operational processes and procedures, including demonstrable experience selecting and implementing new HR systems and third party vendors from scratch, at and for scale
• Minimum of 10+ years in HR, building and implementing operational or benefit programs
• Minimum 7 years experience in management
• Working knowledge of Employment Law, FMLA, ADA, STD regulations
• Strong knowledge of existing and emerging HR systems including Workday
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical;
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and customer service;
• Ability to manage multiple projects that require collaborating with different parties (eg. Legal, Finance) and ability to understand their needs
