As Executive (VP of Learning and Development), you will be responsible for leading the design and development of high impact learning and organizational development programs globally. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of leadership experience in optimizing organizational effectiveness and provide scalable and culturally relevant approaches that align with CAA’s core values.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
• Set global strategy for employee and leadership development across CAA
• Executive/performance/process coaching
• Effectively motivate, coach and grow direct reports
• Organizational Development thought leader
• Succession planning & identify key executives who have a high potential
Performance Management
• Optimize our current performance management program
• Reevaluate standards of performance to ensure relevance and promote better business practices
• Partner with HRIS to pull talent analytics to measure performance and utilize data to inform senior leadership.
Employee Development
• Oversight of onboarding and new hire orientation
• Evolve and maintain new employee orientation and integration for new hires across CAA – including an approach for acquisitions
• Determine CAA approach for regularly obtaining workplace and culture feedback from employees and developing action plans
• Set standards for career planning and partner with the HRBP’s to implement
• Develop programs against the strategy including learning for new managers and new agent promotes
• Maintain and initiate more programs the promote cross-departmental agency relationships
• Establish innovative and “on-target” approaches for coaching, talent planning, and performance management
• Provide Organization Development and Process Coaching for CAA
• Committed to continuous learning and development
Qualifications
• 10-15 years of Human Resources and Employee Development experience
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly growing environment
• Licenses or certifications in one or more of the following: MBTI (Myers-Briggs), FIRO-B,Six Sigma, etc preferred
• Ability to think strategically, and a demonstrated track record of implementing scalable talent strategy that meets current business needs
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Knowledge of current learning technologies, assessment and survey platforms
• Ability to match personal work style and approach to build trust and credibility
• Thrives in a collaborative and team-oriented culture
• Ability to drive projects through strong project management skills, leadership, influence, and broad knowledge base
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Advanced degree preferred - Major in Instructional Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Effectiveness or Human Resources Management preferred
• Experience and interest in entertainment, media, and marketing a plus
