Summary
Do you love Alameda? Are you the go-to person when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of Yelp around town? Do you love gathering friends, planning events, hosting parties? Do you love raving about your fave local businesses? Do you relish connecting with other Yelpers?
As a Neighborhood Ambassador, you’ll be a part-time Yelp employee, working out of your home or anywhere with WiFi, helping to connect Yelpers with their local community and hosting remarkable events in Alameda Neighborhood.
Neighborhood Ambassador Duties/Responsibilities:
• Works with the local Community Manager to connect with Yelpers online and offline
• Communicates regularly with local Yelpers online through Yelp’s website and mobile app
• Reports regularly to the Community Manager and hosts 2-3 events per month in Alameda Neighborhood.
• Receives, sorts, and forwards community feedback to the Community Manager
Other requirements:
• Must be outgoing and vibrant – you enjoy interacting with people online and off
• Must be self-motivated – you do best when managing your own schedule
• Must be professional – you'll be a voice of Yelp out there, so be memorable for the right reasons!
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Strong organizational skills and event planning experience
• Dynamic social media skills a plus
Qualifications:
• Must reside in the Alameda Neighborhood
• Must have a personal smartphone capable of running the Yelp app
• 21+

Other:
• 10 hours per week, $15/hr
• Access to and familiarity with Google docs
