Job Description
KIDY Fox San Angelo is a fast growing news operation for the Concho Valley and Big Country. We are currently seeking a Production Assistant. If you’re looking to get your foot through the door of the broadcasting industry, this job is for you! The successful candidate should be dependable, possess leadership qualities, and be able to work whenever needed, including but not limited to morning, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have great communication skills, work well under extreme pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate audio board
• Edit video for newscasts
• Maintain studio, production control room, news set, and lighting
• Occasionally filling in for the Newscast Director
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• On-going education in the fields of television and broadcasting a plus.
• Must be willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Occasionally, additional hours may be required.
• Experience is not necessary and training will be provided.
