Description:
Entercom Detroit seeks a talented writer, on air talent and production director to join our winning programming and sales teams. Applicants should be able to write compelling commercials, produce award winning quality commercial and programming material and be adept at both digital editing and related applications. Video and web skills a plus as well as Wide orbit or related traffic experience. On a daily basis you will be working with our programming, sales and continuity team at WYCD and WOMC and produce unique and original content for our brands and clients. Applicants should have a minimum 5 years on air and commercial production experience and be able to demonstrate superior digital editing skills, as well as writing samples of exemplary work.
Qualifications:
Required:
·Creating original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
·Participating and creating original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
·Protecting the station’s FCC license.
·Monitoring the music and commercial logs for the airshift.
·Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly.
·Operating the control board and performing production work.
·Making personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
·Other duties as required by management.
·Conceptualizing, writing and producing cutting edge station promos and commercials.
·Delivering straight read as well as various character voices.
·Brainstorming with sales, marketing and programming departments.
·Overseeing/troubleshooting Audio Vault system.
·Acting as a producer for Talent for "in house" production of all types.
·Maintaining and organizing of files and libraries by category.
·Production of public service announcements.
·May be required to make public appearances.
