Position at Taylor Corporation
Taylor Corporation is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to be responsible for providing support in the administration and management of workers compensation claims and overseeing business insurance for Taylor Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Shift Available
• Monday-Friday, 40 hours week
Responsibilities Include:
• Collaborates closely with Taylor companies to assist in monitoring risk management policies
• Reporting:
◦ Supports the development and ongoing production of risk management reporting and presentations
◦ Distributes risk data and dashboards
◦ Evaluates risk reports, identifies trends and shares outcomes with the business
◦ Enhances communications with management and business units on the risk management policies and claims reporting
◦ Manages Risk Management Information Systems
• Data:
◦ Gather information for insurance renewals, allocations and budgets
◦ Provides information to State agencies as required
◦ Responsible for managing the risk management intranet site
◦ Manages audits, changes and mid-year variations
• Coordination
◦ Claim reviews and complex claims
◦ General questions regarding claims and insurance questions, internal and external
◦ Contract reviews and collaboration with legal department
◦ Surety bond
◦ Certificates of Insurance
◦ M&A special projects
• Processes Invoices for payment:
◦ Allocations
◦ Filings
◦ Coordination with Tax department on required payments
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with insurance, worker’s compensation claims, and/or Risk Management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills, including macros and vlookups
• Detail oriented with superior organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Travel – minimal
• Familiar with business insurance and terminology
• Accounting and finance knowledge
• Willingness to find better ways
• SharePoint proficient
