We are looking for a Head of Technology to join our New York City Interactive Technology team.

Responsibilities/Required Skills:
Architecture & Engineering
• Set the vision and build upon an engineering culture that is globally respected.
• Create technical and solution design architectures that form next generation products and platforms, anything from prototype development to complex platform integrations and environments, including cloud infrastructure.
• Work with local, nearshore and offshore teams, including managing round-the-clock development.
• Designing software that scales against team and client requirements.
Governance & Quality
• Managing the existing development and QA teams, both internal & external, through all required governance processes, ensuring a high-end quality final product.
• Formation of highly effective development teams delivering within a distributed agile framework.
• Lead code and technical design reviews to help teams deliver the best work they can.
• Create accountability within teams that production procedure, security compliance, documentation and control are followed and continuously enhanced.
• Your strong technical experience allows you to help solve any issue that may require escalation.
Research & Development
• Foster a culture of curiosity and entrepreneurialism as well as continuous improvement.
• Research, ideate and prototype opportunities that advance our competitive offering.
• Innovate and propose cost effective technical solutions to address business challenges such as improvement of development, processes and governance standards.
Client Engagement
• You revel in the challenge of gaining the client's? trust, from marketing managers to CTOs, and inspiring them about what the future brings.
• Energize and motivate business stakeholders, management, teams and customers to identify needs and guide the delivery of cost-effective, high-performance information technology infrastructures and applications.
• Create understanding with client stakeholders around complex technical discussions and enterprise solution features, benefits, etc.
• Clients regard you as a savior.
Business Development
• Participate in new business development opportunities by contributing smart solutions wrapped in creativity and innovation.
• Partner with a variety of external software providers, (CMS, CRM, eCom, Data, Mapping, 3D/AR/VR, etc) to help manage these relationships, as well develop new partnerships fitting to the strategy direction of the business.
• Drive awareness of Profero in the tech community and be recognized as an industry leader.
Internal Management
• Create and manage the growth plans for the internal development team, defining roles, career plans to create a world-class outfit.
• Provide feedback on feasibility/scoping of new projects, acting as a sounding board for delivery, UX, design and creative.
• Be an active part of the global MLP technical team, helping to shape our global approach and to improve our technical practices across the lifecycle including, innovation, engineering skills and the quality of our delivered products.
• A source of inspiration, knowledge and motivation for the global agency.
Required Skills:
• 12+ years experience in technology with a robust background in technical architecture and back-end development in an agency environment.
• Proven track recording leading technical vision and architectural implementation of large scale projects.
• Experience leading, architecting and delivering Sitecore projects.
• Experience working with near-shore, offshore and local teams in a distributed way, including designing processes and practices to facility distributed working.
• Exceptional experience in web platforms allows you to provide advice and code reviews in all matters of web, hosting infrastructure, and data security.
• Experience working in a lean/agile agency, studio or consultancy environment.
• Experience leading projects and running multi-year technology and development roadmaps.
• Experience with E-Commerce including partners and platforms.
• Familiarity with other WCMS systems including Umbraco, AEM and Episerver.
• Familiarity with the latest web development practices (npm/yarn, react, angular, etc).
• Familiarity with micro-services and micro-architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with advances in mobile app development frameworks i.e. React Native etc.
• Familiarity with Mobile, Native Applications and Experiential.
• Deep proficiency in multiple technology stacks (JS, NOSQL, .Net, JAVA, PHP).
Highly Desirable:
• Sitecore Certification.
• AEM Certification.
• DevOps/Cloud infrastructure.
