Senior Industry Marketing Manager, Infrastructure

Responsibilities
• Lead a team of industry, product and technical marketing managers to execute on the vision and strategy for the Infrastructure business line
• Define industry marketing goals and objectives for the Civil Infrastructure industry segment focused on civil engineering and it sub disciplines
• Manage the execution of complex, integrated marketing programs that support the full customer buying journey
• Manage and allocates budgets for marketing initiatives. Tracks ROI for marketing spend
• Oversee the creation of messaging and content for use in vertical industry marketing campaigns
• Conduct marketing research and studies on return on investment, business value propositions, customer success case studies and other benefits of the Autodesk portfolio for civil engineering disciplines
• Collaborate with other product and industry marketing teams on joint marketing initiatives
• Guide the team in adopting modern inbound marketing methods and platforms such as social media, community groups, marketing automation tools to drive and optimize prospect/customer engagement
• Direct contributions from individual contributors for generating internal marketing materials and presentations to promote a common understanding of the industry strategy and vision at the decision maker and c-suite levels. These may include internal web pages, white papers, c-suite sales kits, executive presentations, etc.
• Provides vision, guidance, and relationship building with public relations, demand gen marketing and corporate marketing to assure initiation and successful execution of awareness and preference generating activities, such as customer nurture programs, PR, events, executive councils, and industry analyst reviews
• Ensures assimilation and application of industry specific marketing messages in customer facing marketing initiatives and sales facing readiness programs
Minimum Qualifications
• Successful track record leading inbound marketing initiatives for e.g. developing a new digital/social voice and executing with associated content, contact flow and online interactions
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work effectively in global virtual teams, and dispersed teams
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions to closure
• Demonstrates initiative and is self-driven
• Thrives in a dynamic environment where requirements shift to meet changing business needs
• Proven success creating marketing plans and communications materials
• Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI
• Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas
• Ability to establish credibility and achieve positive impact due to background in civil infrastructure, with customer, analyst and press interactions
• A team player who is willing to engage in both strategic and tactical work as business needs dictate
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with Marketing Automation Platform capabilities to drive intelligent, automated customer interactions beneficial
• Data driven marketer who uses market intelligence and analytics to measure and optimize marketing efforts and programs
• Familiarity working with Civil Engineering or AEC engineering service provider firms or B2B software or SaaS based businesses required
• Experience delivering inbound and/or content marketing initiatives required
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn highly desirable
• 5+ years of experience in a marketing role
• Master's degree
