Amplify builds innovative and compelling digital educational products that empower teachers and students across the country. We have a long history as the leading innovator in K-12 education - and have been described as the best tech company in education and the best education company in tech. While others try to shrink the learning experience into the technology, we use technology to expand what is possible in real classrooms with real students and teachers.
Amplify works with educators across the country - and about 2 million students. Although we’re a technology company, we don’t believe that our work is over the moment a teacher has a new software license. Instead, it’s just beginning - we work side-by-side with educators and school leaders, fitting our products into the lived reality of classrooms and schools.
Amplify Science is a uniquely interactive curriculum that brings complex texts to life and inspires middle grade students to read more deeply, write more vividly, and think more critically. The program presents an opportunity for teachers to integrate their best teaching practices with new technologies that allow them to increase the impact of their feedback to students, to facilitate close readings that engage students in rigorous analysis, and to use formative and summative data to support all students.
We don’t believe that our work is over the moment a teacher has a new curriculum. Instead, it’s just beginning -- Amplify’s professional development provides teachers with the instruction, practice, and steady support they need to fully unlock the power of the Amplify Science curriculum. We craft our professional development to support teachers as they transition to digital, show teachers how to get the most out of each interactive close reading session, walk teachers through the targeted feedback cycle and the use of data, and refine teachers’ understanding of the content in each unit.
