Position Overview
Partner with Account Managers, Sales Managers, Project Managers, and Digital Services Department in planning, managing and executing Multi-room recordings and live streaming for PSAV while ensuring the utmost in client satisfaction. Provide direction to support personnel, on-site labor and manage Virtual Events equipment. Responsible for providing on-site support for Virtual Event’s Multi-Room Recordings and Live Webcasts. Edit daily recordings as needed for client approval. Troubleshoot technical problems and perceive, analyze and problem solve effectively and efficiently. Determine severity, impact and nature of issues with good judgment in problem escalation procedures and setting priorities. Must have excellent customer service and technical skills. This position requires up to 75% travel including international travel. Reports to Manager, Virtual Events.
Key Job Responsibilities
Project Management
• Lead Digital Services recording projects.
• Review project proposals to determine time-frame and resources required to complete a project.
• Confer with supervisors and project team to outline a work plan and assign tasks.
• Prepare Scope of Work that clearly define the work plan, timeline and tasks to be completed.
• Communicate with clients, supervisors and staff to determine status of assigned tasks and overall progress of projects.
• Maintain a Master Project Schedule that will allow clients, supervisors and staff to know at all times the status of ongoing projects. Keep project management systems and billing systems current.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. Ensure that a high level of quality is maintained on all projects.
Onsite Support
• On-site setup and operation of Virtual Event products including: Multicaster, archive racks, post-production and more.
• Time management of onsite labor.
• Pre-planning and post event reporting on events worked.
• Manage recorded content for post-production and file management.
• Frequent interaction with client is likely, so high professionalism is a must.
Customer Support
• Develop a strong rapport with all PGE AM and PM’s with the goal of providing support for all internal and external VE events.
• Log confirmed shows in event management system.
• Establish and maintain a high problem resolution rate and escalate to support groups as necessary
Virtual Event Support
Support webcasting and recording services to end users. Provide internal support for Digital Services Project Managers and other Specialists.
Internal Customer Support
Work with remote technicians, providing high-level training. Provide support to cross-departmental personnel groups (i.e. Network Services, IT Support, and Asset Management) and non-technical support assistance where necessary for internal conferencing systems and events.

Required Experience:
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or qualifying experience
• 3+ years of experience in technology or audiovisual, preferably in event execution
• 2+ years of experience in Research and Development
• Strong understanding of recording, webcasting videoconferencing systems, and audio/video conferencing technology
• Project management expertise
• Strong post-productions skills
• 3+ years of experience using web-based applications, specifically related to data submission and management
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office application with a very strong emphasis on PowerPoint
• Experience with graphic design and layout software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express, etc…
• Strong customer services skills
• Excellent organization skills
