Job Description
Overview:
Seeking a dynamic, charismatic individual to help drive new thinking, challenge the team and themselves to deliver truly innovative work for our clients. The SVP will be responsible for nurturing our existing clients, re-shaping our planning product around our new positioning and driving aggressive growth via new business acquisition.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and nurture the development, presentation and maintenance of communication plans. Including insight development, innovation road maps, strategic initiatives, big but relevant ideas, updates and point-of-views (POVs) on proposals.
• Create a Culture of Collaboration - Partner with internal teams and other Blue449 accounts to develop insights and brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform and merchandising concepts.
• Drive Innovation and Thought Leadership agenda both as a new business asset but equally as an engine within the agency to drive modern marketing solutions for our clients.
• Partner with Global Leadership to leverage best practices across the globe, drive innovation and thought leadership and position NYC as a new global Hub to grow and expand our business
• Ensure that client receives full value from Blue449’s resources within the parameters of service/compensation agreement as well as access to new partners who can help drive innovation and ideas.
• Provide leadership and direction to team working on account. Be Inspirational.
• Take leading role in client ideation and creativity, partnering with creative, digital and other agencies
• Take leading role in new business activity as required, leading pitch planning teams to craft story lines that help us improve our win ratio
• Ensure a robust training program for all members of the team is in place so we can begin to evolve the staff and their capabilities
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Be Curious, Bold, Collaborative, Creative and Approachable.
• Minimum 10+ years of media experience with extensive planning knowledge
• Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience across all media types (national, local, digital, direct, OOH)
• Interest and Passion for technology, culture and content.
• Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables
• Excellent leadership ability to drive team to deliver results
