CREATIVE SERVICES PRODUCER
WPTV in West Palm Beach Florida, is looking for its next great Creative Services Producer. Do you love crafting messages that stand out so close to the beach? Does conceptualizing ideas come to you as easily as breathing the salt air at the ocean? Do you always put the audience first at the pool? Can you be described as a human Swiss Army Knife, with the ability to do lots of different things really well, when you aren't hanging out at the beach? Then, our piece of paradise is for you!
• This is a Creative Services position which produces promotion for on-air, social, and digital platforms
• Conceptualize, write, edit, and sometimes shoot on-air promotional spots for news, programming, social media, and special projects
• Able to work independently, and with a team, take initiative and manage a flexible schedule with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including a few weekends. Schedule will shift depending on need
• Work with leadership to identify the most effective style and tone for creative
• Identify opportunities to target specific viewers in the production of creative
• Love social media and keep up with trends
• Perform other duties as needed by management. Driving required
• At least three years of creative editing, writing, shooting, and lighting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Final Cut X and Adobe Creative Suite
• Superb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication abilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with news, sales and marketing leaders
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
