AMC Networks seeks an associate corporate recruiter specialist to focus on sourcing top talent for our technical/engineering teams to help us during a very exciting transformation. The associate corporate recruiter will be full cycle and need to feel comfortable working quickly and effectively on their own across all the corporate functions of AMC Networks. The ideal person is collaborative across the HR function and doesn’t view their job as only “recruiting”.
Responsibilities
• Work alongside our established recruitment team to source, attract, and retain talent from across the media/entertainment and Tech industries
• Actively use Linkedin and other social sites to identify passive recruits and introduce new and innovative ways to source passive candidates
• Review and analyze resumes using our in-house Workday application
• Interview potential recruits
• Represent the company at industry meet-ups and networking events
Requirements
• 1-2 years of technical recruiting experience
• Bachelor's Degree from reputable University
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with online job boards
• Organized, articulate and exudes a strong work ethic
• Local NY metro candidates only
Desired Skills
• Passion or desire to learn the recruiting and entertainment media industry industries
• Some knowledge of applicant tracking software programs
• Working knowledge of the technology industry and lingo
• Keen eye when reviewing resumes and conducting interviews
