Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Finance professional to join the Worldwide Accounts Receivable team. This is a Financial Analyst role reporting to the WW AR Manager. The position is primarily focused on reconciling and applying payments for the digital direct customers, using various internal and external reports to identify and resolve any differences. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong organization skills, financial aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for reporting and reconciling incoming payments for our Digital Direct customers
• Ensures timely and accurate cash postings
• Assists in the generation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports
• Creates and posts journal entries
• Ensures month end / quarter end close deadlines are met
• Interact with treasury, sales support, customers, customer service, revenue accounting, customer financial services, and outsource vendors
• Represents the Company and the department in day-to-day activities with both internal and external auditors, providing documentation as required, and information regarding the status / activities relating to accounts under review
• Process cash receipts timely and accurately (lockbox, checks, wires)
• Process credit card payments and resolve credit card issues
• Identify and correct invoices that have not posted to accounting
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA a plus)
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong aptitude for and experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Anaplan, Qlikview, SFDC, etc)
• Proven track record of managing large datasets with the ability to tackle complex issues using financial models and quantitative analysis
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly energetic and self-motivated, capable of working to firm deadlines
• Enjoy working as part of a global team
