Job Description
Job Summary:Assist in overseeing the operation of the Market Research Team at both Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor-NJ. Interact with Guests and perform a job that has a direct impact on the strategic direction of the company. This is obtained by systematically intercepting and interviewing Guests; recording their responses into a tablet device, and collecting Guest e-mail addresses to generate the GSS Survey for the Guest. In addition to these responsibilities, the Market Research Intern will analyze Guest responses, trends, overall feedback, and report their findings to Department Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must be able to promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while interacting with Guests.
• Ability to successfully operate and understand technological aspects of a computer.
• Proven leadership skills, team-player.
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to approach Guests first are necessary for this position.
• Must be energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.
• Strong communicator with ability to motivate a team and deliver quality results.
• Demonstrate ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Daily collection of data from Guests, ensuring that daily quotas are reached.
• Quantitative analysis experience and ability to interpret findings with focus on actionable results.
• Analyze data and report findings to Department Management on a weekly basis.
• Interpret findings to assist with managing Guest Service strategies.
• Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Management.
• Assist in training surveyors in using tablets and the interview process for the Attendance Tracking System (ATS).
• Set high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities.
• Ensure a safe and clean work area.
• Read and understand the Standard Operating Procedures for assigned work location.
• Ensure guest safety and satisfaction standards are met in their stay at Six Flags.
• Ensure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards are met.
• Properly respond to guest questions and give proper guidance when necessary.
• Providing prompt and courteous resolutions to guest concerns on a daily basis while seeking new methods to increase guest satisfaction.
• Cooperate with all Team Members and Supervisors.
• Respond to an emergency situation in the area and maintain control until a Supervisor and/or appropriate personnel arrive.
• Must punch in and out each day to receive correct pay for the week.
• Maintain proper attendance and timelines.
• Refrain from consuming any substance that may impair judgment.

Additional Job Requirements:
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Bi-lingual a plus.
• Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires continuous sitting or standing, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, walking, lifting, hearing and speech. Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition. Requires the use of a telephone.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day.
• Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs consistently.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces.
• Must be able to lift and lower 5lbs above shoulder level.
• Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6ft in height.
