ESPN Creative Works is seeking a strong entry level candidate to be part of our Creative Works team. Candidate will be responsible for leading and providing support for Project Mangers in the end-to-end delivery of integrated marketing campaigns including TV, print, digital, social, OOH, and environmental deliverables. Position works closely with all members of the Consumer Marketing and Sports Marketing departments as well as agencies, designers, developers, copywriters, producers, vendors, and internal clients from initial creative brief to finished product.
Responsibilities
• Lead and assist PM’s with all communications, production calendars, and workflow throughout the review and revision process in deadline-driven environment.
• Acts as liaison to all constituents and traffics materials from start to finish ensuring deadlines are met.
• Evaluates and develops visual material and copy.
• Provides visual QC of all the files before final is delivered.
• Works with an manages external vendors as needed for various production services.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing print, digital, TV and other media projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and communicate the issues around a job effectively.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Workfront).
• Stellar communication, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with coworkers, collaborators and vendors.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong familiarity of MAC software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and business software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the demands and directions of the work are constantly changing.
• Passion for sports a plus Editorial, copywriting and proofreading experience very helpful.
Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in creative, design or related field
