SUMMARY
Hulu’s Finance team is seeking a summer intern who will be an exceptional addition to our Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a summer Intern at Hulu, you will act as a full-time member of the team and will play an integral role in providing financial analysis and planning to all areas of the company. The right person for this role has strong analytical skills, sets a high bar for him/herself, likes to solve problems, and is an innovator. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles including managing information flow from several sources and departments to pull together key components of the reforecast
• Support business units by preparing monthly budget-to-actual reports, handling financial analysis requests, and managing month-to-month variances
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and forecasts for our media partners
• Assist with ad hoc projects, some of which may be urgent in nature and contain sensitive information
• Assist in developing and implementing new reports & reporting deliverables within our new financial software system
WHAT TO BRING
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Finance or Accounting
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements
• Maturity to handle sensitive and highly confidential information
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while executing with atypically high standards of quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
