The Gannett Wisconsin Media Sales Center, part of the USA Today Network, located at the Green Bay Press-Gazette, continues to grow and has a great opportunity for full-time Administrative Support Specialists. We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and service oriented individuals to assist and support our team.
This position is responsible for the entry of legal ads, obituaries, and classified ads, as well as administrative duties. This must be done with extreme accuracy in spelling and grammar. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and be able to take initiative. Must be able to communicate effectively and have good problem solving skills.
Qualified candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills, have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment and effectively prioritize assignments with accuracy while paying close attention to detail and follow-through. In addition, candidates must have strong computer skills, accurate data entry skills and a typing speed of 50 wpm or better.
Here’s what you need:
• Desire to learn and understand both the print and online advertising industry
• Outstanding customer/client focus
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
• Excellent computer skills
• Your schedule will be a 40 hours per week Wednesday through Sunday. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Typing speed of 50 wpm or better.
