Description
TiVo is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to grow our Custom Install (CEDIA) business in the Eastern U.S. by working with territory Sales Reps and Dealers/Integrators to drive customer satisfaction and revenue.
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
• Manage the sales effort through territory representatives via day-to-day contact and regular travel to headquarters and branch locations
• Build meaningful relationships with leading dealers in the territory
• Develop and execute sales and marketing programs at both distribution and dealer level to achieve/exceed targets
• Provide technical support to the distributors and dealers on an as needed basis
• Communicate new product, marketing, and other information to current distributors and dealers
• Give input on future product direction and go-to-market plans
• Develop regular product trainings for TiVo’s products in partnership with representatives or other vendors
• Plan and forecast quarterly and annual sales within region
• Provide regular reporting on Region’s results
• Attend key tradeshows and vendor events
What you’ll need to be successful:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business, marketing or related field
• 3+ years sales experience for a CE Manufacturer, Distributor and/or CI channel experience a plus
• Proficient in the use of MS Office – especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of the CEDIA/Custom Installation business: Able to present and discuss technical concepts as they relate to TiVo and the connected home
• Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Self-directed, motivated, results driven and team focused
• Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding goals as well as strong negotiation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Enthusiastic self-directed team player
• 50%+ travel in United States
