Marketing Assistant, Crown
This position provides great exposure to all aspects of the Crown Marketing Department and is an opportunity to work with many of the divisions within Random House. The Assistant will support both the Director of Retail Marketing and the Assistant Director of Ad Promo.
Some additional responsibilities include:
Providing administrative and project-based support to the marketing team including scheduling meetings, tracking information, and preparing agendas and minutes
• Supporting the execution of marketplace-facing plans
• Coordinating and distributing sales materials
• Creating PowerPoint presentations for sales meetings
• Coordinating and executing bookseller mailings
• Additional assignments, projects and responsibilities, as needed.
The ideal candidate has a BA in marketing or a related field, as well as some relevant internship and working experience. Experience in book publishing is beneficial, but not required. Candidates should also be self-starters with impeccable attention to detail, and possess a proactive and independent approach to work. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, including the ability to produce basic graphs and charts). Candidate experience should demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
