Position Overview
Exciting career opportunity that provides a Production Support Analyst role in the Enterprise Information Systems organization, which is involved in the design and implementation of Next Generation Financial Systems for Autodesk. Join the team that is focused on supporting the Finance community.
The primary focus of the Enterprise Business Support and Operations group (EBSO) is to ensure world class operations of our enterprise applications that support Autodesk’s critical business processes. Autodesk is seeking an experienced Support Analyst to support our Financial Platform (SAP Financials and SAP BPC) and its interfacing applications. The Support Analyst will also carry out service requests as submitted by our Customers, resolve process and/or system issues, audit pipeline results and provide education on system features. All work is to be delivered meeting predefined service level objectives to ensure we meet our Business Partner expectations.
Support Analysts will be involved in projects that implement new features or functionality with the goal to ensure post launch supportability. Tasks would include providing design expertise, creating a post launch support plan, ensuring proper documentation, preparing system environments, coordinating and executing code migrations, and ensuring knowledge transfer among team members.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 2 Incident Management support for Financial Applications with a goal of meeting business service levels.
• Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other IT support teams and drive towards resolution.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements that will deliver increased functionality and/or simplify system administration. Facilitate and develop plans for application changes (including defect fixes, enhancements and/or configuration changes).
• Configure and test changes to systems including reports, security access, and workflow. Perform/Coordinate configuration changes to the production environment.
• Represents the needs of Support organization in projects to ensure consistency between business requirements and technical design.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
• Act as single point of contact with our vendors for the resolution of functionality and performance issues.
• Resolve functional and system errors as identified by Business Partners; includes determining cause of incorrect data entry and infrastructure/database issues. May require coordination with source data providers (i.e. SAP or third parties) to isolate problems. Track system activity to ensure the service is operational as defined by SLAs.
• Coordinate activity between Business Units (including Finance and Sales Ops) and EIS to drive open action items to closure. Requires effective communication and task tracking skills.
• Work with other teams to resolve infrastructure related problems where appropriate
• Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on reporting applications to business units and users.
Minimum Qualifications
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Applications (SAP FICO, SAP BPC, SAP HANA, Business Objects)
• Knowledge of finance master data
• Experience in Integration aspects and B2B functions
• Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Action oriented. Strong analytical and problem solving skills; experience in both process and solution analysis & design
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, dynamic and event driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple project deadlines and milestones

• Ability to learn quickly!
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP FI/CO Certification
• Experience in Booking, Billing, Asset Management, Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Processes
• Experience with data modeling
• Knowledge of Six Sigma quality improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools such as Qlikview, SAP Business Warehouse, and ETL tools
