Job Summary
Improve financial performance by identifying, developing, and recommending micro-targeted consumer investments with superior return profiles. Responsibilities will include building thousands of business cases that accurately represent the most likely volume, revenue, and incremental costs of potential capital investments. This work will involve cross-functional collaboration to develop and align modeling inputs, such as penetration rates and incremental costs, with historic investment performance and go-forward financial budgets.
Job Description
• Propose investment recommendations to management, gain initial approvals, and handoff business cases to implementation teams.
• Monitor results of past investments to inform modeling of future investments.
• Provide expertise in financial modeling, including approaches for developing and validating incremental telecom service costs.
• Collaborate with data scientists to identify service adoption predictors and software developers to build out the production investment modeling platform.
Qualifications
• Masters’ degree(s) in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline.
• 6+ years of experience
• Strong experience with collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing financial data.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to quickly learn new telecom products, network architectures, and analytical tools.
• Experience with multiple approaches for isolating fixed and variable costs.
• Ability to identify uncertainties with the highest impact on a decision and prioritize available time accordingly.
• Comfortable running simulations to support sensitivity analysis and financial decisions.
• Record of success and top-tier achievement in prior work and education experiences.
