Pinterest is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our fast growing Monetization team to focus on Advertiser Opportunities. Over 200 million people a month use Pinterest to plan everything from tomorrow’s lunch to next year’s round the world adventure. Pinterest is in a unique position to marry advertiser and user value in a way that hasn't been achieved before with visually engaging ads and unique targeting methods that go beyond traditional keywords and audiences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing products that allow advertisers to take advantage of Pinterest’s unique insights on user behavior and provide them with the recommendations, insights and automated tools necessary to achieve their objectives.
What you'll do:
• Lead product vision, strategy, development, and execution across a number of products and teams at Pinterest, focusing on advertiser success on the platform
• Partner closely with design, data analytics, and user research to identify and develop bidding, targeting and measurement methods that are unique to brand and performance advertisers on Pinterest
• Work closely with engineering to build features and products that allow advertisers to achieve their goals on Pinterest
• Work with product marketing, sales and operations to drive adoption of these features and products
What we're looking for:
• At least 4 years of product management or related experience at fast-growing companies
• Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and the unique needs of brand and performance advertisers
• Deep understanding of ad auctions, bidding systems and/or targeting methods
• Bias toward action and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and sales teams in a highly collaborative environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Technical education (CS, EE, Math etc.) or equivalent work experience
