Job Description
As the Games Supervisor, you will be responsible for upholding the Six Flags standards of guest service in the Games Department by ensuring all team members are correctly assisting guests in understanding game rules, prizes, and costs, and Maintaining resort cash handling procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Games Lead team and their performance including training, evaluating, monitoring, and disciplining
• Maintain adequate staffing levels throughout department on operating days. Move staff when necessary and cut staff when necessary
• Overall appearance of games department including cleanliness, display, and team member appearance
• Perform weekly inventory counts and account for variances as necessary
• Overall performance of games department, including revenue maximization, cost of goods management, and expense management
• Perform cash audits on team members and supervisors to ensure cash handling policies are being followed
• Track attendance, cash record, and discipline reports for all Games Team Members and perform counseling as necessary
• Assist Guests with general questions pertaining to individual games, as well as any other guest concerns.
• Operate in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members
• Follow all delegated tasks assigned by members of management
• Comply with all The Great Escape Resort policies and procedures
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time, as well as occasionally lift and carry boxes/bags, or push/pull handcarts
• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be outgoing
• Ability to perform general mathematical calculations in order to perform meter readings, as well as ability to fill out paperwork legibly
• General knowledge of Games Department staff, duties, and responsibilities
• Ability to actively communicate with large groups of Guests as well as attendants in a courteous manner
• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines
