The job:
• Time Inc. Audio seeks a dynamic, passionate Audio Producer/Content Strategist to create audio content (podcasts and emerging audio platforms) on behalf of a multitude of brands across the Sports, News, Business (or Entertainment, Lifestyle, Style) etc. categories The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience creating must listen to audio. This person will work at the direction of the Head of Audio Content to create audio content to grow audiences.
You will:
• Pitch, research and edit audio content (including podcasts and voice-activated device products) from start to finish
• Guide and consult with a multitude brands on audio show strategy including coaching reporters/editors without audio experience to collect tape and narrate stories, interview prep, brainstorming concepts, research ideas, script and report for a show
• Research and gather materials for audio production
• Manage production partners and small crews in the execution of audio shows
• Work closely with audience development and engagement teams on audio traffic goals
• Collaborate with engagement teams to create shareable short-form multimedia assets for promotion, and brainstorm big promotion ideas
• Scheduling - talent/guests, recording sessions, interviews
