Producer/Board-Op, Radio (Part-Time)
WTMJ Radio is seeking a part-time Producer/Board-Op to join its award-winning team. This producer is a versatile, multi-tasker that will produce compelling show content for on-air and online. This position will book guests, generate topics and develop a strong working relationship with station hosts. Duties include call screening, maintaining commercial logs, running station automation software and producing audio. The ideal candidate must have strong written and editorial judgement, excellent written and verbal communication skills required, solid understanding of producing local enterprise content, proficient use of the digital platform, high work ethics and standards, ability to meet deadlines and detail orientation, knowledge of newsroom computers required along with familiarity of areas across southeast Wisconsin.

• Strong communication skills
• Accuracy in gathering of facts and spelling
• Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws
• Demonstrated ability to work independently under strict deadline pressure
• Strong time management and organizational skills, including strict attention to detail
• Successful content generation on social media
Requirements
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and proof of insurability
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• Minimum two to four years of prior broadcast experience required
Work environment:
• May be required to work non-standard hours, weekends, and holidays.
